Renewing license

You can open the screen with details on your current license:

•On Android. Open the main screen (see Figure 8) and select License.

•On Android TV. Open the main screen and go to Miscellaneous -> License.

In the License window, you can view license serial number, license owner name, license activation and expiration dates.

If Dr.Web is operating in the central protection mode, and is used to connect to Dr.Web AV-Desk anti-virus service, the License screen also contains the subscription expiration date or the date when the service was blocked for the device (station).

Renewing license

Dr.Web supports hot license update. It means you do not have to reinstall the application.

If your license is about to expire, you should purchase a new license and activate it. Choose one of the following options to do so:

•Open the License section from the main menu and select a necessary option:

▪Purchase license (for licenses obtained from the Doctor Web online store). You will be redirected to the online store, where you will be able to get a new license.

▪Use key file (for licenses obtained from the Doctor Web online store). You will be prompted to find and select a new key file from the file tree on your device.

▪Extend Google Play license (for licenses obtained from Google Play).

▪Enter a new serial number. If you already have a new serial number, you can enter it to extend your license.

•Open your personal web page on the Doctor Web official website (for licenses obtained from the Doctor Web online store).

To do so, select the About option in the application menu and tap My Dr.Web.
