Dr. Web account protects access to Dr.Web components and device's settings with a password. Dr.Web account password is required: •To access some Dr.Web components: ▫Dr.Web Anti-theft. ▫Parental control. •(If Dr.Web Anti-theft is enabled) to access some application settings: ▫; ▫; ▫. •(If Dr.Web Anti-theft is enabled) to access some settings on your device: ▫ -> or -> (for Android 6.0 or higher); ▫ -> (for Android 6.0 or higher); ▫ -> (for Android 6.0 or higher); ▫ -> -> . If you exclude Dr.Web from the list of device administrators, your device will be locked. To unlock it, you will have to enter Dr.Web account password. You can protect access to Call and SMS filter, URL filter and Dr.Web settings with your password. For more information, refer to Parental Control section. Creating Dr.Web Account To create Dr.Web account: 1.Tap the menu sign in the top right-hand corner of the main application screen. 2.Select the option. 3.On the screen enter your email address. Address is required for restoring your password in case you forget it. Provide an existing email address and tap . Note that you will not be able to change your email after signing up. If you want to use another email, you will have to delete the account and register it all over again with a new email.
4.Set a password. The password must contain at least 4 characters. 5.Confirm password and tap . On the next screen you will see a notification confirming that your account is created and registered successfully. 6.Tap . You will be redirected to the account configuration screen. Managing your Account On the account configuration screen (see Figure 12), you can do the following: •Set a new password if you have forgotten your current one. •Change your password. •Delete your account.
